Things to do over Easter weekend and beyond

Not sure how to spend the Bank Holiday Weekend? Or want to discover more in London? Here’s some great things to do this Easter and April.

For those that don’t want to grow up:

With an array of Easter egg hunts aimed at kids it’s nice when adults can also run around searching for eggs too. Who Bunny Dunnit? Will see participants run around the streets of East London using a host of clues (and a smartphone) to solve a mystery and win some prizes.

When: Saturday 26th March 1pm to 3:30pm or 4pm to 6:30pm

Address: Aldgate East (specific details given upon booking)

For the explorers:

London is such a vast city, there’s always bound to be somewhere in your local area you haven’t seen. The Find Your London Festival is a great opportunity to explore hundreds of outdoor spaces across the capital and get stuck into some crazy activities.

When: Festival finishes on Monday 28th March

Address: Londonwide

For foodies:

It wouldn’t be Easter without some chocolate. Kew Gardens have partnered with Lindt Chocolate for the Chocolate Sensations Festival. Find a child and drag them on a Lindt Gold Bunny Flavour Trail or learn about the production of chocolate from bean to bar.

When: Festival ends 10th April

Address: Kew Gardens, Richmond

For the art-lovers:

Interested in studying a full-time Fine Arts course but want a taster before you commit your time and money? Or just want to experience painting by ‘sight and size’  in an art studio?

Look no further than The London Atelier of Representational Art (LARA) as they open their doors for an Easter School. You can choose to do either a five or ten day course, with all levels of ability welcome at the studio.

When: 5 Days course 28th March -1st April 2016 or 4th - 8th April 2016 - £435

           10 Days (28th March - 8th April 2016) - £845

Address: W0012/14 West Wing Basement Studio, Vox Studios, 1-45 Durham Street, London SE11 5JH

Happy Easter!
