Somerset House's Summer Series 2016

Festival season will soon be upon us, but if you're into less camping, less queuing and cheaper tickets, Somerset House's Summer Series is your hot ticket!

Set in one of London's most iconic landmarks, Summer Series at Somerset House returns with a mix of established performers and newcomers alike. Two acts The LDN team recommend seeing are Benjamin Clementine, who plays on Saturday 9th July and Laura Mvula who takes to the stage on Sunday 10th July.

Born in North Londoner, Benjamin Clementine's powerful and tender voice compliments the harsh reality of his lyrics. He creates a connection with the listener that says ‘This is me, maybe it’s you too’. Clementine also won the Mercury Prize with his debut album At Least For Now.

While songstress Laura Mvula has graced the music industry with her soulful lyrics and resounding stage presence. Laura's newly released single Overcome was created in collaboration with the legendary Nile Rodgers.
