Back for another year, Alchemy returns to brighten up The Southbank Centre this May. A celebration of all things South Asian, prepare to encounter an array of delights from the five nations represented at the festival.

There's a lot to do, see (and eat!) at Alchemy 2016 with the festival also embracing the intertwining of Asian and British cultures.  Highlights include tabla legend Zakir Hussain performing with the BBC Concert Orchestra; Nikhil Chopra's performance art The Black City: The Pearl to the River, rapcore punk rockers Asian Dub Foundation and Kathmandu Theatre Village's retelling of Shakespeare's Hamlet in Nepalese as part of the Shakespeare 400 celebrations. Make sure you don't miss it!
